She also walked like a T-Rex

This past weekend, ipost | upost heard about a woman who walked down the aisle at her wedding to the theme from Jurassic Park. Please post some songs you would like played at various parts of your own wedding.

Speaking of walking like a T-Rex, maybe I'll go down the aisle to the tune of that classic hit by The Bangles, Walk Like an Egyptian. "Life is hard, you know, so strike a pose on a Cadillac."

Oh. And how about "I Wanna Sex You Up" for the father-bride dance?
"Walk Like an Egyptian" would be awesome. Maybe you should roller skate down the aisle for that mid-80s rollerdrome nostalgia I associate with the song... everyone would be whistling during the break.
The most amazing Statue of Liberty animation is at the end of this video

Oh yeah, The Clash... "Should I Stay or Should I Go".
The Who's "Baba O'Riley" might work; it's a song about getting together before it all turns to shit. Plus, it's got that build-up -- musical excitement and urgency -- that makes it sound so enormous and of great import.

We could get divorced to "Won't Get Fooled Again."
Wow, I'm sensing a little pessimism about marriage.

I have a flare for the dramatic (http://youtube.com/watch?v=fkPKoCF06vM ) and a sense of the ridiculous (http://youtube.com/watch?v=loUNoy0Qub0 ), so we'd probably bound down the aisle to the second one and then exit to the first one.
I think the wedding procession is important, but it's the reception dance that's clutch.

We've all saw this: http://youtube.com/watch?v=Vqiw-Kqtlr0

But this is the goal: http://youtube.com/watch?v=jJMKnE3EjsM
I didn't get married in a church so technically there wasn't an aisle. The theatre group I cofounded sang "Blue Moon" as we all trooped down the grassy hill and had a made-up ceremony. Nothing funny or strange there...BUT...at the reception, during the dance music, we played Bugs Bunny's "Rabbit of Seville" music. The whole thing. And sang to it and acted it out. With great gusto.

I've been married almost 17 years so there's hope for some!
How about the Can Can? That's optimistic, right?
