Not just for some, but for everyone!

Burt Bacharach and Hal David wrote a song featuring the lines:

What the world needs now is love, sweet love
It's the only thing that there's just too little of...
Is there anything else of which there is just too little?

PS. Hal David, minus two points for the dangling preposition.

There is too little respect for the English language and linguistics in general. Here are some offenses that drive me batty:

- Hal David's dangling preposition: "It's the only thing that there's just too little of"

- Paul McCartney's ridiculously superfluous dangler: "But in this ever changing world in which we live in"

- Every time my friend Andy asks location: "Where's it at?"

- Misuse and misunderstanding of "me" and "I", especially the ignorant overcorrection method of replacing every "me" with "I".
